It’s official! We recently passed the 1-year anniversary of the groundbreaking for the new Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science! For those of you who were these to witness the first scoop of earth lifted by a bulldozer last February, you remember that there was an enormous expanse of flat brown earth surrounding that scoop. Now, with so much underground work completed, we are starting to see the building rise out of that formerly flat expanse of brown earth. Now you can see the patterned surfaces of the wall panels arriving, the curved base of the planetarium, and the plaza level being built above the garage where you will park when you come enjoy the Museum on opening day. It’ll be here before we know it!
